Your new role
As a Construction Site Agent, you will be an integral part of the Construction Team, responsible for delivering all planned works across the network. In this role, you will contribute to the core objective of delivering high-quality highway services that benefit residents, businesses, and all road users throughout Suffolk.
Your Duties:
Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with required HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) standards.
Support the Scheme Delivery Manager in developing construction programmes, phasing plans, and method statements
Efficiently coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.
Ensure Construction Phase Plans, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place before work begins, maintaining safety standards throughout
Liaise with key stakeholders, including network managers, local authorities, community groups, and designers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Take ownership of the commercial performance of projects, working closely with commercial teams.
Participate in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and contribute to buildability reviews, including traffic management planning.

What you'll need to succeed
Clean Full Driving Licence
HNC or Degree Qualified (Not essential)
CSCS
IOSH/SMSTS
