Site Engineer - Major Highway Project - Colchester

A leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structures Site Engineer to join our team on a major highway project. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex structures and contribute to a project that will enhance regional transportation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide technical expertise and support for the construction of highway structures, ensuring adherence to design specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Oversee setting out and construction activities, ensuring accurate placement of structures and components.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards.

What We Need:

• Proven experience as a Structures Site Engineer on highway or similar large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to highway structures.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
• A commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.
