Job Title: Site Manager (Civil Engineer with Electrical Infrastructure Experience)

Venn Group is currently working with a contractor in Northern Ireland, who are loooking for a Site Manager to oversee operations on a substation.

Duties will include:

• Daily supervision of site staff and subcontractors
• Understanding of civil construction, cable and multi utility networks
• Perform risk asssessment of workplace
• Coordination of civil and electrical works
• Good understanding of drawings
• Oversee excavation of cable trenches and joint bays
• Comply to SHEQ standards
• Ensuring compliance with NIE Networks and SONI standards

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• NRSWA supervisor
• CSCS supervisor
• Manual handling training
• IOSH
• Experience in civil engineering projects
• Strong HSEQ knowledge

Preferred:

• DNO auths
• Civils Engineering quals
• Experience working on live electricity networks within the Electrical Distribution Industry
• Cable laying experience
• Utility sector experience
