Site Manager

• Job Type: Full-time Temp to perm
• Location: Coventry
• Salary: £220 per day while temp then moving to perm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company for a dedicated and experienced Site Manager. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate activities on various construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction processes, particularly in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.

• Manage daily operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports and incident logs.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets specified standards.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise on-site.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Must have experience in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
