Snr Pricing Actuary - Protection - Outside IR35

Oliver James are representing a leading Life Insurance business who required an experienced Pricing Actuary to support on a day rate contract basis.

You must live in the UK and hold Right to Work for this contract (unfortunately this role does not offer visa sponsorship)

Start: June/July

Duration: 3-6 month initial contract

Status: Outside IR35

Office attendance: Ideally 2 days per week - flexible/negotiable.

You must be a Qualified or Experienced Actuary with significant experience in a Pricing role within a direct insurer, specifically within Protection.

You will support the implementation of Pricing initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders and interacting with student actuaries, therefore people management experience would be beneficial.

The specific responsibilities allocated will be dependent on the experience of the contractor. The client can consider from 3+ years PQE to deputy Head Of level.

Required Experience

• Qualified Life Actuary - 3+ years experience. More experience welcome.
• Significant knowledge of the UK Protection market - ideally individual protection products
• Strong stakeholder management
