Social Care Occupational Therapist

?? Hours: 9am-5pm | Office-Based + Community Visits

Westminster City Council is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team. This role focuses on supporting vulnerable adults through functional assessments, equipment provision, and major adaptations to promote safety and independence.

• Manage a complex caseload of community clients

• Complete manual handling & equipment risk assessments

• Prescribe and manage major adaptations (e.g., ramps, stairlifts, level access showers)

• Support hospital discharge and prevention

• Liaise with housing, DFG, and contractors

• Provide clinical input to reports, panels, and safeguarding cases

• Offer peer support and supervision

• HCPC registered OT with experience in local authority settings

• Knowledge of equipment, adaptations & relevant legislation

• Manual handling and risk assessment expertise

• Enhanced DBS (we can arrange this)
