Join a dynamic Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Cambridge as a Band 6 Social Worker. You’ll play a vital role in supporting adults experiencing a range of complex mental health issues within the community. Your key responsibilities will include:

? Managing a caseload of service users with varying needs
? Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating person-centred care plans
? Delivering recovery-focused interventions in line with Care Act and Mental Health Act frameworks
? Working collaboratively with MDT colleagues, families, and external agencies
? Safeguarding and risk management duties to ensure client safety and wellbeing
? Supporting service users’ access to community resources and long-term recovery

To be successful in this role, you will need:

? A current and valid Social Work England registration
? Experience working within a CMHT or similar community mental health setting
? Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and mental health legislation
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
? A valid full UK driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM, offering consistency and a healthy work-life balance. The contract is ongoing, with a strong potential for extension based on performance and service demand.
