Child Protection Social Worker - Cornwall

Pay Rate: £35 - £38 per hour | Hybrid Working

Are you a qualified Social Worker passionate about safeguarding children and making a real difference? We’re looking for an experienced Child Protection Social Workerto join our Cornwall team.

What you’ll do:

• Carry out statutory child protection assessments

• Develop and review child protection plans

• Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners

• Attend Child Protection Conferences and other key meetings

• Ensure children’s voices are heard and their safety is paramount

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England

• Experience in child protection and safeguarding

• Strong communication and assessment skills

• Ability to manage complex cases with empathy and professionalism

• Comfortable working in a hybrid model — combining office and remote work
