Position: Social Worker - Children’s Services

About the Role

As a Social Worker in our Family Safeguarding Team, you’ll work closely with families and a range of multi-disciplinary professionals to build on strengths, reduce risk, and promote sustainable change.
You’ll be supported through reflective group supervision and be part of a collaborative team focused on child-centred practice and positive outcomes.

This role may require occasional work outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to meet the needs of children and families.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a diverse caseload of children and families
• Undertake meaningful assessments and develop outcome-focused, child-centred plans
• Work within a multi-agency framework to deliver holistic support
• Contribute to safeguarding and child protection processes
• Ensure all work is clearly and analytically recorded on LCS (Liquidlogic Children’s System)
• Promote the voice of the child in every decision

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE) registration
• Experience working in Children’s Social Care, ideally in a safeguarding setting
• Excellent communication, assessment, and analytical skills
• A trauma-informed, relationship-based, and strengths-focused approach to practice
• Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) are welcome to apply and will be supported through our ASYE programme
