What You’ll Be Doing: Join our team as a Social Worker and play a key role in supporting individuals in the Preparing for Adulthood and Transitions team. In this role, you will:

This Social Work post sits within the Integrated Learning Disabilities Service (ILDS), specifically within the Ongoing Support and Reviews pathway. The Social Worker will have experience of working with adults 18+. Experience of Care Act (2014) assessments, Mental Capacity Act (2005) assessments as well as Court of Protection work is essential. The ILDS is a supportive integrated team that includes Nurses, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Behavioural Analysts, Dietetics, Support Workers, Speech and Language Therapists. The post holder would benefit from having experience in a similar team.

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid registration with Social Work England (SWE).
• Proven experience as a Social Worker
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• A valid full UK driver’s license (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. The contract is for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
