Social Worker- Safeguarding team- Good Ofsted - £35 p/hr

NonStop Care is currently working with a well-established local authority in the Yorkshire area that is looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.

They are looking for positive and outgoing individuals to join their team. They have excellent training and developmental opportunities, improving your skills and creating more opportunities for yourself in the future.

We can offer permanent, fixed term and temporary contracts with a variety of full time and part time roles with flexible working.

Responsibilities:

Engage with children, their carers and families in such a way as to clearly understand their circumstances, wishes and feelings and form conclusions which direct longer term interventions focused on the best interests of the child.

Be first point of contact for the children helping to create a safer environment, ensuring that the children grow up safe with action being taken when it is of the best outcome of the child.

Requirements:

This role requires a Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle and experience as a Social Worker.

Court work experience as a requirement as well as extensive knowledge of legislation and CP work being key to success in this role.
