Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Duration : 12 Months (Contract)

Salary : Negotiable on experience

Avanti Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer in the automotive space to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies for our automotive control systems, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test specifications from systems and software requirements
• Create and execute test plans for automotive control unit software in HIL environments
• Design and develop plant models using MATLAB and Simulink to support HIL validation
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency
• Work according to established automotive standards including ISO26262 and ASPICE

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture
• HIL (Hardware-in-Loop) testing experience)
• Background in embedded systems development
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
