Are you a SolidWorks user Looking to upskill yourself within a forward-thinking construction environment? This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on technical training and real project experience with one of the UK's fastest-growing and most innovative construction specialists.

This 6-month contract offers the chance to work with a specialist team converting 2D AutoCAD drawings into 3D SolidWorks models as part of bespoke pre-construction solutions.

You'll join a company known for their cutting-edge detailing, off-site design support, and technical manufacturing capability - supporting projects from tender through to completion. As long as you have a solid foundation in SolidWorks and a positive attitude, full training will be provided on their systems and processes.

You'll receive full training in the company's specialist detailing and manufacturing process, learning how their SolidWorks models convert architectural requirements into custom steel supports. If you're interested in construction, structural detail, and want to expand your technical skills, this is a perfect stepping stone.

You will work in a friendly office amongst a supportive and tightknit CAD team learning from technical specialists in structural Engineering and Construction.

Ideal for someone with:

• At least 1 year of SolidWorks use
• An interest in engineering, manufacturing, or Construction
• Looking for a 6 month FTC with immediate start
• Enthusiasm to develop further in a professional, fast-paced design team

The Role:

• Use SolidWorks to convert 2D architectural drawings into 3D models of steel support structures
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure accurate and timely design turnaround
• Assist in modifying or revising existing models and updating technical drawings as needed
• Learn how the CAD output feeds into manufacturing and structural performance
• Receive guidance and support from senior detailers and project engineers
