Solution Architect

• Contract Duration: Initially until end of August 2025 
• Location: London (Hybrid working model - 3 days a week in the office)

Reed Professional Services is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team, working with our client’s expanding Application Architecture team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in significant projects that impact a wide audience, leveraging your expertise in IT architecture to deliver robust solutions.

• Engage in all phases of the development lifecycle, focusing on the design and delivery of large-scale, complex integrated IT solutions.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on the design of systems architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Communicate complex technical designs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the Application Architecture team and other cross-functional teams to integrate and configure a wide range of Information Technologies.
• Manage a large and varied workload, prioritising tasks to meet project deadlines.

• In-depth knowledge of a wide range of Information Technologies, with hands-on experience in their integration and configuration.
• Proven track record in technical architecture roles across all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical designs to a broad audience.
• Experience in systems integration methods and technologies.
• Demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of large-scale, complex integrated IT solutions.
• Desirable: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and transitioning from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies.
