Solution Architect
London/Hybrid

Min 6-month contract, Inside IR35 to £750-£900/day

Experienced Solutions Architect is required by well-established financial services firm. We are looking for someone with varied Solution Architect / Design experience, including Applications, cloud. AI, data management processes etc.

This is a newly created contract which will see you running the solutions architecture for the redevelopment and cloud deployment of our client’s core global IT systems.

The role:

Lead strategic technical design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to represent and enforce core design principles
Design and oversee the implementation of specific technology solutions to align with business objectives
Creates comprehensive architectural documentation
Manage the gap between business needs and technical capabilities

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Solutions Architect within the Financial Services sector
Knowledge of Cloud computing platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies
Understanding of modern IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC), and DevOps practices
Demonstrable London Market software selection/delivery/integration experience
Knowledge of the Insurance Policy/Claims Admin System landscape
Experience of previous projects moving from legacy systems to updated versions (software/hardware/integration) and able to articulate the role(s) played
