FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading Public Sector infrastructure Company based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Enterprise Networking to support critical infrastructure and project delivery within a complex, multi-vendor environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing technical leadership, design assurance, and expert support to ensure the successful execution and stability of major infrastructure renewal initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction and guidance to assigned infrastructure projects.
• Ensure design alignment with internal policies and governance frameworks.
• Review and approve solutions through formal design processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise networking technologies.
• Support project and operational teams with complex infrastructure issues.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in LAN and WAN networking technologies.
• Proficiency in load balancing and firewall configurations.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale, complex IT environments.

Desirable Skills:

• Awareness of Wintel and Red Hat server systems.
• Basic understanding of mainframe technologies.
• Familiarity with broader IT infrastructure domains.
