Grafton Banks Finance is working with a global general insurer to recruit a Solvency II Consultant for an initial 3-month interim role.

The client requires expert Solvency II reporting services, to deliver a project to build and improve the capabilities, reporting and documentation of all Solvency II related documentation.

Key deliverables:

• Creation of documentation to govern the Group Solvency II process including documentation of key judgements and assumptions, which will include creating documentation of key judgements and assumptions of the group’s insurance entities or reviewing this documentation where it exists.
• Calculation of Group SII own funds and the Group Standard Formula SCR, building process capabilities to explain movements on a Group basis to the Group Financial Controller and Group CFO.
• Managing the preparation of the Group’s QRTs required for the Q2 2025 submission to the PRA.
• Preparing information needed for Solvency reporting to Aioi Nissay Dowa Japan for Q2 2025.
• Creation of the Group Regulatory reporting policy.

This role can be carried out remotely. The clients offices are in the City. Role is paying circa £550-650per day outside IR35 and is to start ASAP.
