Job Description - Sourcing Manager - Process Improvement

Process Improvement Manager - Sourcing & Supply Chain


Edinburgh, Halifax, Birmingham or Bristol


Up to £700 per day inside IR35


6 months with possibility for extension



Our client, a leading UK Financial Services Group is looking for an experienced process improvement consultant within financial services supply chain, to provide operational and analytical support to the Sourcing Product Team, contributing to the effective design of sourcing processes and governance. This role will support ongoing initiatives such as helping to embed concentration risk considerations into the Sourcing Process, simplify processes and supporting better understanding of change by improving reporting and analysis of data for the Sourcing Product.

In this role you will support the end-to-end design of the sourcing process, including risk assessment, supplier qualification, and contract finalisation, in line with the Sourcing & Supply Chain Management Framework. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with sourcing leads, supplier managers, and business stakeholders to ensure understanding of user experience, feedback and needs so this can be reflected in Sourcing Product design decisions.
You must have experience in supporting the planning and delivering of a change pipeline, working with stakeholders effected by changes to ensure stakeholder buy-in to design decisions. You must have strong data analysis skills and the ability to develop and refine sourcing templates, guidance materials, and process documentation

In order to be successful in this role, you must have previous experience delivering change and process improvement in a procurement, sourcing, or supplier management function within a regulated
