Sourcing Specialist Indirect

Title: Buyer - Indirect Spend
Location: Staffordshire (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Contract: Temporary (6 Months)

Working as a site sourcing specialist for this large international corporate, and focused on indirect spend areas.

Responsible for:

• Category/product sourcing strategy - developing and implementing this strategy alongside group procurement objectives.
• Sourcing and negotiating terms for indirect product and services spend.
• Tracking and reporting spend and supplier performance.
• Being point of escalation for internal customer around quality or supply issues.
• Creating, negotiating and analysing RFQ/RFPs
• Guiding stakeholders through the procurement process.

Qualifications:

Ideally MCIPS qualified
Experience in indirect/services contract procurement.
Strong knowledge of tendering, contracts, and contract negotiation.
