Spares Administrator

Your new company
My client is a manufacturing organisation based in Carlisle. They are world-leading suppliers in their market with an excellent reputation in the area. They employ circa 150 employees with a turnover exceeding £100m.

Your new role
Working within the Customer Service Team, ensuring all customer orders and enquiries relating to spare parts are dealt with and executed to schedule, meeting customer expectations.
You will work closely with the procurement team to ensure parts are ordered on time and at the right price and that the dispatch is on time for the customer.
Duties will include:

• Handling customer enquiries on quotations and issuing prices and delivery dates for spare parts.
• Processing customer orders, issuing order acknowledgements, confirming prices and dispatch dates.
• Managing any urgent customer requirements outside their agreed shipment dates.
• Arrange urgent direct shipments from suppliers to customers.
• Handle returns from customers or quality defects from customers or suppliers and arrange replacements, credits or repairs.
• Liaise with other departments within Stolle to solve customer problems.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a similar role in administration or customer service.
• Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment is advantageous.
• Good IT skills and the ability to navigate systems and databases.
• Organisational skills and the ability to deliver high quality and timely output
