About the Role

• This Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator position involves leading SEND provision across the school
• Part-time class teaching is included alongside SENCO responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop the school's SEND policy and provision as the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator
• Support staff and lead on the identification and support of pupils with additional needs
• Liaise with external agencies, parents, and governors to ensure best outcomes for children
• Manage the SEND budget and maintain accurate records and documentation

Essential Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status with a NASENCO qualification required for this Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator role
• Proven experience in SEND leadership within a school setting
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive education
