Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant - ASAP Start

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich is looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs across EYFS and KS1.

• SEN Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with additional needs

• Full-time role starting September 2025

• Work 1:1 and in small groups to deliver targeted academic and social-emotional support

• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals

• Experience supporting children with SEN, or strong motivation to start

• Interest in inclusive education, child development, or psychology

• Patient, compassionate, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Proactive, reflective, and open to training and development

• Rated "Good" by Ofsted with outstanding leadership and rising attainment

• Well-resourced classrooms and inclusive outdoor learning spaces

• Progress scores well above national average in reading, writing, and maths

• Supportive, creative leadership team with a clear vision for inclusion

• Regular CPD and professional development opportunities

• Located in Greenwich with excellent transport connections
