Teaching Assistant - SEND Support
Location: Hillingdon, London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £95 per day
Hours: 8:15 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

A friendly and well-established primary school in Hillingdon is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide targeted support for students with special educational needs (SEND). This full-time role will begin in June 2025, with the possibility of continuing into the following academic year, subject to a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support for students with SEND (specific year group to be confirmed)

• Assist in small groups within the classroom to enhance learning experiences

• Work closely with classroom teachers to implement tailored support plans

• Support pupils with SEND, EAL, and behavioural needs

• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEND and EAL

• Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, adaptable approach

• A proactive and supportive attitude to learning assistance

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
