Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

Location: Hillingdon, London

Start Date: June 2025 (with potential extension into the 2025-26 academic year)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Salary: £95 per day

Hours: 8:15 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

A welcoming and well-organised primary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support to students with special educational needs. This full-time position commences in June, with the possibility of continuation throughout the next academic year based on a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-to-one support for students with additional needs (year group to be confirmed)

• Assisting small groups within the classroom to facilitate learning

• Collaborating closely with classroom teachers to deliver tailored support plans

• Supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, and those requiring behavioural guidance

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEND and EAL

• Effective behaviour management skills

• A calm, flexible, and proactive approach to learning support

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
