SEN Teacher - West Midlands
Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start or September 2025
Location: West Midlands - Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, and surrounding areas
Salary: £150.00 - £200.00

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a new challenge in the West Midlands? Do you have experience supporting children with complex needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and global developmental delay? We are currently recruiting a qualified SEN Teacher to join specialist provisions and inclusive mainstream schools across the region. This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on making a difference and can adapt to meet the needs of every learner.

About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with EHCPs
* Teach pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff to provide a consistent and supportive learning experience
* Monitor and support emotional wellbeing and behaviour management using a trauma-informed and child-centred approach
* Liaise with SENCOs, therapists, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need
* Maintain a nurturing, structured classroom where pupils feel safe, supported, and valued

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / PGCE)
* Proven experience teaching children with SEN, either in a special school or mainstream setting
* A solid understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs
* Strong classroom management and adaptive teaching strategies
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Flexibility to travel across school sites in the West Midlands
* A valid enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
