Sport Development Project Officer

Location:Birmingham - 3 Days on Site across Birmingham

ContractDuration: 6 months

Hays is collaborating with the local council to recruit a dedicated Sport Development Officer. This role is pivotal in supporting and assisting the council in managing and controlling the finance budget and projects across their sport development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Sports Manager with the capital portfolio within the Sports Team.
• Provide coordination and support across the project.
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of project milestones.
• Maintain programme documentation, track progress, and support governance processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in sports development or a related field.
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Project Management.
