Sports Coach

Aspire are working with a number of vibrant and diverse schools across East London who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to join their teams.** These roles provide a fantastic opportunity to inspire young people through sport, promote physical activity, and contribute to student well-being and development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions across a range of age groups (primary and secondary).
* Plan and implement engaging PE lessons and extracurricular activities.
* Support schools in promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
* Work with teachers and school leadership to tailor sessions to the needs of pupils.
* Identify and nurture talent in a variety of sports.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
* Assist with organising school sports events and competitions.

Requirements:

* Minimum Level 2 Coaching Qualification in one or more sports (e.g., football, basketball, netball, athletics, etc.).
* Experience working with children or young people in a school or community setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
* Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo checks).
* Flexibility to work across different school sites.

Desirable:

* First Aid certification.
* Safeguarding training.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards a PGCE/School Direct route (preferred but not essential).
* Experience delivering curriculum-based PE lessons.
