Sports Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Sports Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis from 22nd April until mid-June. The role involves supporting students across Levels 1 to 3 BTEC Sport courses, focusing on helping them complete their end-of-year coursework.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide guidance and support to students in completing their BTEC Sport coursework.
• Assess students' coursework and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards are met.
• Work closely with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons that effectively meet the curriculum requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide additional support where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in teaching BTEC Sport courses.
• Previous experience assessing internal BTEC assessments in Sport is essential.
• Strong understanding of the BTEC Sport curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
