Are you an experienced and compassionate educator with a strong background in supporting learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? Academics is currently recruiting for a Specialist Resource Base, SRB Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan.

About the Role:

• Lead teaching and learning within a dedicated SRB classroom, working with small groups of pupils with significant ALN.

• Develop and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual education plans (IEPs).

• Work collaboratively with support staff, ALNCOs, external specialists, and parents/carers.

• Promote a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment that supports each pupil's progress and well-being.

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and individual pupil strategies.

? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
? Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service)
? EWC registration (Education Workforce Council)
? Strong, demonstrable experience working with pupils with ALN, ideally in an SRB or specialist setting
? Excellent understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive practice

? Desirable: Additional training in autism, trauma-informed approaches, or other relevant ALN specialisms
