Job Description
As a Steel Fixer, you will play a key role in supporting ongoing construction and civil engineering projects. You'll be responsible for accurately positioning and securing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
* Cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh to reinforcement structures
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and bar bending schedules
* Tying rebar using hand tools or mechanical equipment
* Assisting with concrete pours and formwork alignment
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site standards
* Working alongside shuttering joiners, concrete finishers, and groundworkers where necessary

Requirements
Essential:
* Valid CSCS Card
* Proven experience as a Steel Fixer
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in steel fixing or relevant trade
* Two recent references from similar site-based work
