Store Person

Your new company
We are currently recruiting for an experienced stores person to work for a public sector client in the Dundee area, ideally with strong electrical knowledge. The role is a long-term one, and you will be working alongside other tradespeople & labourers. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work within a great team environment.
Your new role
In your role as a store person, your day-to-day job will include the following duties:

• Receiving goods, unloading deliveries and checking for damage or discrepancies
• Verifying delivery notes against Purchase Orders
• Organising and storing items in designated locations, ensuring stock is stored safely and securely.
• Conducting regular stock checks and audits and updating inventory records using manual logs or digital systems
• Order fulfilment and reporting low stock levels or discrepancies
• Picking and packing items for dispatch
• Coordinating with couriers or delivery drivers
• Keeping the store or warehouse clean and organised

What you'll need to succeed

• You will have experience working in a similar environment and will be within a reasonable distance of the store, which is in the west of Dundee.
• Ideally, you will have strong multi-trade knowledge and be able to communicate with all trades around their requirements.
• You will require a full UK Driving Licence to be considered for this role.
