Stores Keeper

The Company:

We are currently seeking proactive and reliable Storekeepers to join our clients team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong organisational and communication skills who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role has the potential to become permanent after a 12-week period for the right candidate.

This is not your standard warehouse role — the successful candidate will need to absorb and retain technical information quickly, work independently, and liaise effectively with internal departments under pressure. Full training will be provided.

The Role:

• Accurately record deliveries, issues, and returns using the internal CFS computer system
• Match goods received with delivery notes and ensure accuracy
• Unload deliveries from suppliers and internal departments
• Ensure timely onward delivery of goods and maintain site security
• Issue goods to Engineering Department employees per request notes
• Maintain stock levels and complete stock takes as required
• Keep stores clean, tidy, and organised at all times
• Deliver fault materials to site (subject to driver training and insurance requirements)
• Participate in standby availability rota after training, serving internal customers with minimal support

The Person:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential)
• Flexible to travel between sites
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace (essential - will be assessed at interview)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good customer service mindset
• Comfortable with using IT systems for inventory and reporting tasks
• Experience in a Stores or Warehouse role
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence
• Solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety procedures
• Overhead Gantry Crane operation experience
• Experience using IT-based inventory systems
• Stocktaking knowledge and experience

• 07:30am to 15:30pm Friday

The Pay:

• £12.55 Per Hour
