Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Newport
Salary: £13-14 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary - End of October
Hours: Mon-Thur 8am – 16:45. Fri 8am – 13:00

Pertemps is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading design and manufacturing company based in Newport. They are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Person to join their busy and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, check, and store incoming materials and products
Pick and pack items accurately for production or dispatch
Maintain accurate stock records using manual and digital systems
Carry out regular stock checks and audits
Keep the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
Liaise with internal departments regarding stock levels and requirements
Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading of goods

Requirements:

Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or stock control role
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using inventory systems and basic IT tools
A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
Experience with Import & Export Logistics
