We have an excellent opportunity for a Storeman / Storeperson to join a well-established organisation in Wallsend on a potentially long-term contract.

Storeman / Storeperson positions which are shown below.

Weekday Dayshift - Monday to Friday. 38 hours per week.

Some overtime may be available.

Rates of pay offered:

- PAYE Dayshift:

£14.50 per hour - For the first 38 hours worked and approved
£18.85 per hour - In excess of 38 hours worked and approved
£21.75 per hour - Saturday hours worked and approved
£29.00 per hour - Sunday & Bank Holiday hours worked and approved

Duties and Responsibilities for the Storeman / Storeperson

- To operate, maintain and continuously improve the control and storage of goods and / or material applicable to the project and / or as required for Company business activities.
- Work in accordance with agreed principles for the receiving and sending of goods and materials.
- Ensure all paperwork is received and recorded as per our clients stock control procedures.
- Ensure stores area are kept with safe and clean working conditions and maintain a high standard of housekeeping to maximise efficiency and minimise risks.

As a Storeman / Storeperson you will have, but not limited to:

Must be able able to use a Computer and scanning systems (Some training can be provided).

Have previous experience in this type of position and ideally within a heavy engineering environment.
