Strategic Finance Business Partner - Contract

We're seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to support the financial planning and execution of high-impact strategic projects. As the business expands, this role will play a pivotal part in evaluating commercial decisions, modelling project funding, and ensuring financial oversight from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage financial models to forecast, support, and monitor key strategic initiatives

• Produce clear, insightful reporting to track project performance and financial progress

• Represent the finance function on project steering groups, offering commercial input and financial challenge where needed

• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape project scopes, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood and factored in

• Collaborate with FP&A to ensure project impacts are reflected in company forecasts and board-level reporting

• Liaise with Tax, Accounting, and Governance teams to ensure projects comply with operational, tax, and risk management policies

• Continuously improve financial processes related to project tracking and cost control

• Provide additional financial support or analysis as required across ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

• Strong commercial acumen with excellent numerical and analytical ability

• Demonstrated experience in a finance business partnering role

• Advanced Excel skills, with confidence building and maintaining financial models

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

• Immediately available / very short notice period
