Strategic Procurement Business Partner

Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with our public sector client based in Aylesbury. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Procurement Business Partner to join their Commissioning and Procurement Division. This is a temporary role with hybrid working arrangements, and will pay up to £242 a day PAYE DOE.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver strategic procurement projects across a designated service portfolio.
Advise and influence commercial decision-making, driving value for money and improved service outcomes.
Manage the end-to-end commissioning cycle, including business case development, sourcing, and contract management.
Develop long-term supplier partnerships and ensure sustainable procurement solutions.
Engage in market analysis, social value initiatives, and best practice commissioning with senior stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:
Professionally qualified (MCIPS Level 6 or equivalent experience).
Demonstrable experience in public sector procurement, preferably in a regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of PCR15 and PA23 regulations.
Skilled in managing high-value, high-risk contracts and complex procurement exercises.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
