Strategy & M&A Analyst

About the Role

Supporting our client to evaluate potential acquisitions and

strategic initiatives. The role focuses on supporting financial analysis, reviewing business

case assumptions, assessing valuation ranges, and identifying key risks.

This position requires strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, with the ability to

translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the assessment of potential acquisition targets by reviewing financial

projections, KPIs, and underlying business drivers.

• Contribute to business case development by challenging assumptions, validating

inputs, and ensuring consistency with the BU’s strategic priorities.

• Assist in the valuation process (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions),

working closely with the Corporate M&A team on model development.

• Identify and assess key business and financial risks associated with each target.

• Prepare strategic summaries, risk assessments, and decision-making materials for

BU leadership meetings.
