Street Cleaning Operative

Location: Rotherham
Hourly Rate: £12.73 per hour
Contract: Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 3:00pm; Friday finish at 2:00pm
Driving Licence: Required (ability to drive 3.5-tonne vehicles desirable)

We are currently recruiting for a Streetscene Operative to carry out essential environmental cleansing and maintenance duties across Rotherham. This includes:

• Bin emptying

• Litter picking

• Sweeping

• Grounds maintenance and general street cleansing

Key Requirements:

• Experience in environmental cleansing, grounds or horticultural work

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

• Able to operate powered tools and equipment

• Understanding of health and safety practices

• Must be physically fit and reliable

• Full driving licence required (towing experience desirable)

This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
