Structured Cabling Engineer

DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer in Londonderry on behalf of a national structured cabling contractor.

Duration: 1 week

Working up to 8 hours.

Works including installation of new structured cabling and network equipment, and can include but is not exclusive to moves/changes of existing APs/cabling/cab switches/CCTV, within a retail unit.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card or CSCS
• Hold a valid IPAF licence for categories 3a and 3b for working at heights
• Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
• Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK (ID) prior to start
• Have their own PPE and hand tools including termination kit and drill(s)

You must hold a valid UKATA asbestos awareness certificate to be fully compliant for these attendances, though this can be done online prior to start.
