Student Achievement Tutor

• Hourly Rate: £22.05
• Working Hours: 18.5 (Please inform candidates that lunch breaks are unpaid and should not be claimed on weekly timesheets.)

Join our dedicated Student Achievement Team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering tutorials and enrichment across various subject areas. This position focuses on supporting learners in preparing for their future steps, enhancing personal development, and providing pastoral care.

• Engage with young people, facilitating group discussions on a range of topics from personal concerns and safeguarding to broader local and national themes.
• Plan and deliver sessions aimed at supporting learners' personal and educational growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and work effectively with external agencies and stakeholders, including parents/carers.
• Conduct administrative tasks, such as contacting parents regarding student absences.

• Experience in delivering educational or support sessions to young people.
• Background in youth work, learning support, or teaching is highly beneficial.
• Strong ability to engage and communicate with young people.
• Capable of building relationships with both internal teams and external parties.
• Not required to be a qualified teacher, but must be confident in session delivery.
