Student Information Officer

The role of Student Information Officer requires an organised individual to provide administrative support and assisting with student-related enquiries both face-to-face and via online applications. This is a temporary role, for 5 weeks, fully on-site based at the University.

• An hourly rate of £14 per hour - weekly timesheets, weekly pay

Description

• Be the first point of contact on campus for all face-to-face enquiries from students, staff, and public
• Respond to queries through online channels including, phone, email, live chat, and social media
• Respond to queries within the agreed service level agreement and adhere to KPIs
• Provide information to students regarding courses, assessments, timetables, facilities, and university offerings
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of induction and enrolment activities, and campus events

Profile

Student Information Officer:

• Previously worked in a role handling customer or student enquiries
• Excellent customer service skills, providing a first class service to students, staff, and public
• Able to work in a busy environment, managing multiple tasks
• Ideally worked in the Higher Education sector, supporting student queries
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and multitasking
• Familiarity with database management systems is advantageous
