Job Description - Studio Operations Assistant

Job Title: Studio Operations Assistant

Location: Hoxton

Pay Rate: £15.83 per hour

Contract: 0-hour contract, up to 40 hours per week

Minimum of 3 shifts per week, with a target of 5 shifts to achieve full-time hours
Minimum contract duration of 9 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 17:30

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in loading and unloading vans with pallets and boxes
Receive stock into systems
Manage outbound stock back to fulfilment centres after products have been imaged
Palletise stock to and from fulfilment centres
Unbox and prepare products for shooting
Repack items post-production for return to fulfilment centres
Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
Maintain a clean and organised working area
Assist with basic troubleshooting of product issues
Document any missing, damaged, or malfunctioning items
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
Provide administrative support to the studio operations team as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 6 months experience in a retail apparel/non-apparel environment (e.g., clothing, shoes, bags)
Experience in prepping garments and non-apparel items (bagging, tagging), packaging, and repackaging
Experience in a studio, inbound/outbound, prepping, or production house environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, etc.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move equipment for extended periods
Lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 20kg) frequently
Bend, kneel, and reach to access and organize equipment
