Salary: £18 Umbrella P/H with mileage reimbursed tax-free

About the Role:
We are presently seeking a compassionate and reliable Supervised Contact Worker to facilitate and oversee safe, structured contact between children and their families. This is a vital role that supports the emotional well-being of children whilst ensuring their safety and best interests are upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate supervised contact sessions between children and family members as directed by the local authority or court

• Ensure all interactions are conducted in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

• Provide clear, factual, and detailed written reports following each session

• Liaise with social workers, family members, and other professionals as required

• Safeguard the welfare of the child at all times

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children and families, preferably within a safeguarding context

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to remain impartial, calm, and professional in emotionally charged situations

• A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle

• Business use car insurance (essential)

Additional Information:
Whilst the role does require the use of your own vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed at a tax-free rate in accordance with HMRC guidelines. This ensures that your travel expenses are fairly compensated without affecting your taxable income.
