Supplier Quality Engineer (practically fully remote)

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Darlington.

This role is on a contract basis and is practically fully remote.

We're working with a manufacturing business and a global power technology leader, that specialises in generators and alternative fuel engines.

This role is for a Supplier Quality Engineer -someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Building strong relationships with all critical partners
• Support the cross-functional supplier selection process for any given component.
• Collaborates with external suppliers to validate the manufacturing processes.
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes, Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) tools.
• Conduct external supplier audits

We're looking for people who can show:

• Supplier Quality Environment
• College, university, or equivalent degree / Time served / H/ONC / HND in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required. Industry-specific experience will also be considered in the absence of a degree or formal qualification.
