Job Description - Supply Chain Admin

The Supply Chain Admin will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of supply chain processes within the FMCG industry. Based in Leeds, this temporary position requires a detail-oriented individual to assist with administrative tasks and ensure efficient communication across departments.

Description

  • Maintain and update supply chain records with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate communication between suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation for supply chain activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the team in resolving supply chain issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all supply chain tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the supply chain department as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Admin should have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Job Offer

  • Hourly pay rate of approximately £10.80 to £13.20, depending on experience.
