Role: Supply Chain Advisor
Client: BAE Systems
Location: Portsmouth
Contract: 12 months, 3-4 days per week, 37 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £15.05

About the Role Join our Warship Support Maritime Services Supply Chain team, delivering procurement and supply chain activities for a defined area. You will support the development of strategies and plans, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to meet project and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Procure materials and subcontract services, ensuring cost, quality, delivery, and export control requirements are met
Support supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management
Deliver effective supplier relationship management and maintain the open order book
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
Support risk identification and mitigation
Ensure compliance with company policies, including quality, safety, and responsible business conduct

Skills & Experience

Experience in procurement or supply chain
Commercial and contractual awareness
Understanding of MRP and Purchase to Pay processes
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
SAP experience desirable (training provided if needed)
