Location: Leatherhead

Type: Full-time (8am–5pm), On-site (parking available)

Contract: Temporary (3–6 months), with potential for permanent placement - £21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements.

Work closely with procurement to ensure supplier agreements are accurately maintained in the ERP system.

Maintain proactive communication with suppliers to secure timely deliveries and quickly resolve any issues.

Monitor supplier performance using KPIs, addressing any discrepancies in delivery, quality, or pricing.

Coordinate logistics to optimise transportation and delivery processes.

Implement inventory management strategies to minimise excess or obsolete stock.

Track deliveries, manage missing parts, and ensure material availability for ongoing projects.

Support process improvement and cost reduction initiatives across teams.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for material planning.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations (ideally within manufacturing).

Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain best practices.

Proactive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in ERP or supply chain management software.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
