Our market-leading client require an Industrial Project Manager to join them on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of procurement commodity strategies and ensure alignment with programme and supply chain requirements, including the creation of actionable roadmaps.
• Prioritise and support supply chain and procurement projects, particularly those included in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Act as the programme representative in supplier discussions, communicating strategy, monitoring performance, and supporting procurement in the enforcement of programme objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within supply chain projects (e.g., ramp-ups, transfers of work), leveraging tools like APQP and LBIP to prevent operational disruption.
• Assist in calls for tender, ensuring key business terms are validated, supporting bid assessments, and ensuring buy-in from relevant stakeholders.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven experience managing suppliers within a complex industrial environment.
• Familiarity with MRP planning systems and supply chain operations.
• Strong project management capabilities with a structured, methodical approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, at a professional negotiation level.

Desirable:

• Background in aviation, aerospace, or complex manufacturing industries.
• Exposure to industrial and quality management systems (e.g., APQP, LBIP).
