Supply Clerk

We are collaborating with a Defence organisation to recruit an experienced Supply Clerk/Forklift Driver. This role is essential for managing inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of supply functions within the organisation.

• Location: Fairford, UK
• Salary: PAYE £15-£20 per hour; Umbrella £20-£27 per hour
• Temporary position with potential for permanent placement

• Count, sort, and weigh incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions or invoices.
• Handle unpacking and packing of Mobility Readiness Spares Packages, performing inventory checks and stock replacement.
• Examine stock to ensure conformance to specifications and store articles according to identifying information.
• Fill orders, issue supplies from stock, and manage requisitions to replenish bench stock items.
• Compile reports on stock consumption, inventory adjustments, spoilage or damage, location changes, and shipment refusals.
• Distribute stock among production workers, maintaining accurate records of material issued.
• Determine storage methods and stock locations, considering various logistical factors.
• Move or transport materials and supplies to other departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Ensure shop tools are in working condition and manage tool kit assemblies for various crafts.
• Operate a forklift as required and perform other duties as assigned.

• UK citizenship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Strong reading, writing, and data comprehension/interpretation skills.
• Forklift experience is essential.

• Experience with USAF Supply functions and USAF Supply-related data management systems.
