Pay £140 - £200 per day

Full Time, Part Time and Flexible working - Opportunities to suit all availability.

General Cover including : English, Maths, Science, Geography, IT, History, PE, RE, Art and Design, Food Technology etc

Astro Education are looking for Supply Teachers to support Secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

The Supply Teacher role would see you setting up lessons and ensuring they run smoothly across a variety of subjects and year groups, enabling you to put into practice and build on your classroom skills. A Supply Teacher would suit a seasoned educators as well as an ECT. This is a perfect role for someone who is eager to make an impact within the classroom but through a flexible route.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across various subjects and age groups.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or similiar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teaching assignments.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Be passionate about education and supporting students.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa/ overseas police check if relevant)
• Relevant references covering your last two years of employment
